MgA. Katarína Nábilková
Katarína Nábilková is a graduate of the masters's programme in the K.O.V. studio at UMPRUM. In her work she often uses materials that are unconventional for jewellery, as well as unique forms. For the artist, jewellery is a statement that reflects an attitude and communicates it to the environment. It is not just about aesthetic function; it is inextricably linked to a conceptual background that the wearer shares.
The jewellery thus confronts the environment and challenges established stereotypes. In addition to creating and studying artistic jewellery, she is also involved in conceptual objects and installations, and is expanding her work into design.
